We are looking for the VERY BEST in the 2017 Flash Fiction Competition, judged by award-winning writer Kit De Waal. The competition launches today to coincide with Get Creative, a nationwide weekend celebrating and supporting everyday creativity. Prizes: The top three flash fictions will be published here, on The Casket of Fictional Delights. The top 10 flash fictions will be professionally recorded and broadcast as special audio stories on iTunes, SoundCloud, TuneIn and Stitcher. The winning flash fiction receives a £150 prize.
Transport for London recently ran a competition based on TubeFlash (created by the team behind The Casket), to ‘Design a brooch inspired by the London Underground Map’. Come along and see the winning designs from talented new jewellery designers, and get the chance to see more than 50 of the original TubeFlash brooches that inspired the competition at The Brooch is Back Exhibition. Part of Clerkenwell Design Week, the exhibition runs from 23rd May to 10th June in central London. Pop along and see the TubeFlash brooches.
